Service is
leadership in public.
Club 1600's impact is measured not only by speeches delivered, but by people served and opportunities created.
THE NEIL PERCENTIE LEGACY
Back2School.
Year after year.
The Neil Percentie Back2School Jamboree is one of Club 1600's enduring community traditions, honoring the memory and service of Neil Percentie by supporting young Bahamians as they prepare for the school year.
DYNAMIC YOUTH IN ACTION · SUMMER 2026
Six weeks.
Skills that travel.
Over six weeks, Club 1600 members worked with young people through Dynamic Youth in Action, an organization serving at-risk youth. The sessions focused on practical development — entrepreneurship, communication and job readiness — taking the same skills practised inside Toastmasters into a room where they could matter immediately.

See opportunity. Build value.
Introducing young people to entrepreneurial thinking, problem-solving and the discipline of turning ideas into practical value.
Own your message.
Helping participants express ideas clearly, speak with confidence and understand how communication shapes opportunity.
Walk in prepared.
Practical preparation for the workplace: presentation, professionalism, communication and the habits that influence first impressions.
Build voices early.
Leadership and communication initiatives help young people practise confidence before the stakes become higher.
Put leadership to work.
Club service projects turn values into visible action and create opportunities to contribute beyond the meeting room.
Pull the next man forward.
Intergenerational development has always been part of the Club 1600 experience — inside the club and beyond it.
Communication meets commerce.
Business and leadership initiatives connect speaking, mentorship, networking and practical opportunity.
Impact should be
documented.
This page will grow with photographs, partner organizations, sponsorships, year-by-year highlights and measurable community outcomes.
